Following concern expressed by parents and aspirants of NEET medical entrance test, the BJP has made further changes in the schedule and route of Sunday’s roadshow.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Union Minister for State for Agriculture and the BJP’s Karnataka Election Management Committee convenor Shobha Karandlaje said that the mega roadshow was spilt across two days with the intention of reducing the inconvenience to the people of Bengaluru. “We have changed this after learning that NEET exam will be held on Sunday. The length has been reduced to 8 km between New Thippasandra and Trinity Cirle,” she said.

As per the revised schedule, the PM will take the 26 km-long route from JP Nagar to Malleshwaram on Saturday. On May 7, he will be attending the shortened roadshow between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.

“The Prime Minister had done the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme and he is concerned about the students,” she added. The PM reportedly made it clear that even a single student must not be inconvenienced.
